Get Misparked

Resident reporting for private lots

A phone call you can actually dispatch on.

Somebody is blocked in. They call the number on the sign and try to describe a car to a dispatcher who cannot see it. Misparked sends the plate, a photo, the exact spot and the time instead, straight to the towing company already under contract at that property.

What changes on the lot

A small plate on the post, under the sign that is already up. Nothing is reprinted and no new post goes in. Residents scan it with their phone: no app, no account.

How a report gets made

Two ways in, and neither needs an app.

Scan

The QR code opens the report page. Confirm your number first, then take a photo or choose one from your library. Check the suggested property, or choose it yourself.

Type

On a phone that cannot read the code, open misparked.com/report, printed under it. Same page, same report.

The photo is read for you

Misparked suggests the plate and vehicle details it can read. The reporter checks them and fills in anything missing. Photo reading can make mistakes.

The location is more than an address

Photo coordinates and the phone's location help suggest a property. The reporter checks it or chooses another, then adds a space or building label. When a lot is big enough that a space number is not enough, the reporter drops a pin on the exact spot.

The number behind it is proven

A texted link or code confirms the number before the first report. The browser remembers it. Misparked keeps that number and does not share it with the towing company or the vehicle owner. The operator sees a track record, not a person.

Misparked charges per report

Misparked takes no cut of a tow. Residents receive no payment for filing reports.

Where Misparked starts

Starting in Wake County, North Carolina.

Misparked is being set up lot by lot with the operators who already hold the towing contracts in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Garner, Holly Springs and Wake Forest.
