Get Misparked

What Misparked costs an operator

Priced on reports. Not on tows.

You pay for a report: a vehicle somebody just saw, photographed and sent you. What happens after you arrive is yours, and it does not touch the invoice.

The shape of it

Four numbers, and you pick one of them.

$3.25

A report, to start

The rate steps down as the month's volume grows, to under $2. A month with no reports has no report charges.

Your number

A monthly maximum you set

Set in dollars in your settings, and changed whenever you want. Reports past it are held, not sent, so the most you pay is a figure you chose.

$99

To set up a property

Waived for our first operators. Setup includes up to 5 signs at the property.

30 days

With no report charges

We agree payment arrangements with you before billing begins. Prepay at 15% off as account credit. How long it lasts depends on report volume.

The whole schedule

Marginal, the way tax brackets are.

Each report is charged the rate for its place in the month's count. Crossing into the next bracket makes the reports after it cheaper and does not change the price of the ones before.

Every bracket

Reports in a monthEach report in that range
1–40 $3.25
41–100 $3.00
101–175 $2.75
176–250 $2.50
251–350 $2.25
351–499 $2.05
500 and up $1.85

A month of 60

60 reports in a month comes to 40 × $3.25 + 20 × $3.00 = $190. The next report after that costs $3.00, and not a penny more.

What does not bill

A report that was wrong is not a report you pay for.

When a report turns out to be wrong, it comes off your bill, and the reporter's own record carries it.

Why not per tow

Misparked takes no cut of a tow.

It would bend every decision we make

A fee per tow would reward more vehicles being taken. Misparked charges for reports processed, so the tow decision stays with your company.

It is your license, not ours

Misparked earns the same whether a vehicle is towed or not, so it has no stake in the decision your license rides on.

Residents are not paid either

Nobody reporting a vehicle earns anything for it. A bounty on neighbors would poison the one signal the whole record depends on.

Tell us which properties you gave up on.

Not the ones you already patrol. The lots where most trips found nothing, so you stopped going. A report means somebody just saw the vehicle there.
