Get Misparked

Start to finish

Scan, shoot, send.

Confirm your number, add a photo and reasons, then check the details and send. Everything after that happens between Misparked and the towing operator already under contract at the property.

What a resident does

Four steps, with a number check on your first visit.

Scan the code on the plate

It opens a web page. No app or resident account is needed.

Confirm your number, the first time

Type in a mobile number and we text it a link. Tap it, or enter the code in the same text. That browser remembers the number. This keeps anyone from filing a report under a neighbor's number.

Photograph the vehicle and pick what is wrong

Take the photo there, or pick one from your library. Pick every reason that applies. Sharing the phone's location helps, and saying no does not stop the report.

Check what we read off the photo

Check the suggested plate and vehicle details against the photo. Correct mistakes and fill in blanks, including when photo reading is unavailable. Confirm the suggested property or choose another, and drop a pin when a space number is not enough.

Nothing is sent to the operator until the number is confirmed

What the operator receives

One message with one link.

Everything known, on one page

The photo, the plate, the vehicle, where in the lot, how far away the report was made, the time, and how the reporter's past reports turned out. Not who they are.

Every button works from the moment the job arrives, and a storage lot is asked for only when a vehicle is towed.

The follow-up is already written out

Where a tow has to be reported to the police, every field they will ask for is on one screen with the number and the deadline. Misparked prepares that call; it does not place it.

What Misparked will not do

The limits are the product.

Does not look up who owns a platePlate to vehicle description only. Plate to registered owner is restricted under the federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act.
Does not share who reported a vehicleThe reporter's number does not reach the operator or the vehicle owner. The operator sees a track record with no identity in it.
Does not pay residents to reportResidents are not paid for reporting, and Misparked is not paid per tow.
Does not decide whether to towReports go to the operator carrying everything known. They verify on arrival and they decide.
Does not take reports it cannot supportOnly things true of the vehicle as it sits, which the driver can confirm by looking. Not something a person did and then stopped doing.
